What it does
You decide what to build. pacerail takes over the supervising you now do by hand when Claude Code or Codex works for you.
- Plan
Splits the work into small batches your agents can finish.
- Pace
Runs them at a rate your usage limits allow, overnight too.
- Check
Checks every result against the plan before it lands.
- Repair
Turns a failed check into a small fix you can review.
It asks you before anything irreversible.
Who it is for
Developers and solo builders who already use Claude Code or Codex every day and want more done while they are away from the keyboard.
A good fit
You trust agents to write code, but you are tired of planning the next batch, watching usage limits and checking what came back.
Not a fit
You want an agent that replaces engineering judgment. pacerail is the pacer, not the driver.
Who is building it
I am Christofer Näs, a developer in Sweden. I run Claude Code and Codex on my own projects, and most of my time goes to watching them: planning the next batch, keeping an eye on usage limits, checking what came back and restarting what broke.
pacerail is the tool I am building so I can stop doing that by hand. I build it on my own, and the beta is where I find out whether it works for you too.
